Heidelberg, Germany – Heidelberg Engineering has appointed new distributors in Norway and Sweden to care for the company’s growing product portfolio and deliver the high standard of support and education Heidelberg Engineering customers have come to expect. Preisler Instrument AB and Instrumentpartner AS will be the official distribution partners in Sweden and Norway respectively.
“Our history in the ophthalmic field in the Swedish market goes all the way back to 1902. We have built strong relationships with our customers over the course of time”, explains Daniel Preisler, CEO at Preisler Instrument. “We are very excited for this opportunity. Heidelberg Engineering is a well-renowned brand, and we are very proud to have been chosen distribution in our region. Ensuring the happiness of our customers is our biggest priority. We plan to focus on providing education to ensure every Heidelberg Engineering device user in Sweden is an expert.”
“Instrumentpartner will give Heidelberg Engineering the level of representation, service, and expertise the brand and its customers deserve in Norway”, says Håvard Holtskog Myrland, CEO at Instrumentpartner. “We are proud, honored, and humbled to be the new distributor.”
As with the recently formed Finnish branch and the distributor Eye Optics in Denmark, Heidelberg Engineering UK will directly support these two new Nordic distributors with their established and experienced Sales, Academy, and Technical Support teams. In addition to growing the existing base of SPECTRALIS customers in each region, Heidelberg Engineering will introduce ANTERION, a multimodal swept-source OCT platform optimized for the anterior segment, as well as HEIDELBERG EYE EXPLORER, the healthcare-IT solution optimized for ophthalmology.
“Instrumentpartner and Preisler Instrument are established ophthalmic device suppliers who have a reputation and work ethic that is aligned with the Heidelberg Engineering brand”, says Tosh Vadhia, General Manager at Heidelberg Engineering UK. “Both companies are customer focused and consultative in their approach to provide imaging solutions that suit the customer’s needs. We are excited to help both existing and new customers to understand the full potential of the technology we offer.”
