EVI – Enhanced Vitreous Imaging Mode
Because it is not only about the retina
The Enhanced Vitreous Imaging Mode (EVI) of the SPECTRALIS is an OCT technology with focus on the vitreous. An increased signal-to-noise ratio and less signal decay with depth allow for a higher intrinsic contrast of poorly reflective tissue. The resulting images show details in the vitreous and support you in the evaluation of uveitis, vitreoretinal interface diseases, vitreoretinal tractions or degeneration of the vitreous.
